On a brighter note – bookings are coming in thick & fast with no less than 5 Open water Courses to do in January – & I only return to Tobago on the 12th!! Well – in at the deep end……so…Happy New Year & may 2012 treat you all well….more from the sunny Isle on my return.

So….I’m flying to the UK to visit mine!

Charlotteville Shark Shacks will still have rooms for rent but any diving will be done with another Centre….until January 14th…then – I wish all of you a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS & a HAPPY NEW YEAR.

Finally – after a very long wait – my engines have cleared Customs in Trinidad & I should be collecting them next week so we will soon have True Blue back on the Sea where she belongs….I, for one, can’t wait to sail her again.

Wow! Hasn’t time gone fast?

My compressor is up ‘n running, some good work has been completed on the Centre’s shower & dip-tank areas & I’ve been busy with Open Water & Advanced Courses.

The new engines should be on True Blue before the end of July – ever the optimist – then we’re all Go, go, go………

There have been Turtles on almost every dive – sometimes 2 or 3 – & lots of Rays around just now – the waters are wonderful & things are looking good.

The “Shacks” will be representing at DEMA in Orlando in November…Hope to see some of you there….till next time…

Sadly, my compressor is still not working, & I am waiting patiently for 2 new yamaha outboard engines for “True Blue” so that we have all the best in ease & comfort of diving.

But due to the terrible state of things in Japan – we are not on their priority list for exports so don’t know how long I may have to wait until my engines arrive here. Meanwhile – the Mantas are out, the Seas are teeming with life & visibility is excellent!

We are using alternative fishing boats for our dives & getting tanks filled wherever we can so the diving is still fabulous.

Today I took 2 Dutch clients to Sisters’ & Brothers’ Rocks for 3 dives.

We had lots of fun both below & on the water.

A pod of Dolphins came to play & we saw a large Sand Shark & caught dinner!!!!
